Ricardo has taught 22 CE courses to raise $50,050 for various charities. including: Habitat for Humanity, University of Illinois at Chicago students' trip to Nicaragua, Alvernia University students' trip to Belize, The Carter Center, USO Illinois, Travis Mills Foundation, Building for America’s Bravest, VetsRoll, Blackfeet Volunteer Medical Corps and Foundation for Physical Therapy.
I am teaching a one-day CE course for APTA Montana’s 2025 Spring Conference: “Current concepts of effectively treating patients with shoulder impingement syndrome.” The course will be in Billings, MT, on April 26, 2025.

This course will provide the physical therapist and physical therapist assistant with a review of shoulder anatomy, biomechanics, examination, interventions and the latest pertinent research. The theories, signs and symptoms, and intervention strategies will be discussed for shoulder impingement syndrome. There will be laboratory practice time allotted for special tests and interventions.
Objectives/Learning Outcomes:
1. Identify common orthopedic pathologies encountered at the shoulder.
2. Discuss the various causes of shoulder impingement syndrome pathologies.
3. Perform and interpret the results of an appropriate comprehensive exercise prescription of the shoulder.
4. Utilize information related to the pathology of the condition, the principles of intervention, the examination results, and available literature to develop an appropriate, comprehensive intervention plan for a patient with shoulder impingement syndrome.

9-21-24: I was delighted to teach a CE course at Alvernia University in Reading, PA. We raised $1,850 to help fund the students' trip to Belize to provide physical therapy to the underserved.
Alvernia University is hosting a fundraising CE course, September 21, 2024, for 13 DPT and 11 OT students to travel to Belize on a service mission. I am donating all proceeds to these students for their trip.

4-12-24: Thank you, Great Falls College- MSU for hosting the knee CE course which raised $2,500. Together we raised $4,100 for charity over the past two years at Great Falls College-MSU.
